Confidence isn’t built by telling kids they’re amazing. It’s built by teaching them how to talk to themselves when they don’t feel amazing. If your child has an inner critic (and most do), help them: - Name the “gremlin” voice - Challenge what it says - Replace it with their “best friend” voice When kids learn that negative self-talk isn’t the truth, it’s just a voice, they gain power over it. And that’s where real confidence grows. We’re not trying to eliminate hard thoughts. We’re teaching kids how to respond to them. That’s how you build identity, resilience, and lasting self-worth.
