Parents Make Mistakes #shorts

Failure is a big part of life! 🫠 I would argue maybe one of the most important parts. As a parent, adult, and a daughter myself, I can proudly claim that I am where I am today because of all the times I have failed in my life. The lessons I learned from my failures are instrumental to who I am today. And as a parent, I want my child or any child to fail as often as possible. Failure shows that they’re trying, learning, and growing. Failure means that they’re figuring things out on their own. And at the risk of sound cliché, failure means they’re on the path to success. This doesn’t mean your kids fail and get back up on their own. You need to be there to support them, reassure them, and help them grasp what the failure has taught them.
